There is no reason why a person who is driving a commercial vehicle, such as a semi-truck, doesn't drive safely. These individuals are being paid to drive, which is why they should make sure they are paying close attention to what they are doing. Sadly, some employees just don't care enough to be bothered with giving their full attention to the road.

A DeLand man allegedly strikes, kills motorcyclist in hit-and-run

A 40-year-old DeLand, Florida man was arrested and charged for leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in another man's death on Thursday, June 29. The driver is alleged to have crashed into a motorcyclist at the intersection where Biscayne Boulevard crosses Flightline shortly before 4:13 p.m. that day. Officials believe that the 32-year-old biker died instantly on impact.
